Grant Heslov
Grant Heslov (born May 15, 1963, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American screen artist best known for acting, while also building a major behind-the-scenes career as a filmmaker. Over the years, he has become closely associated with projects made alongside George Clooney, earning multiple Academy Award nominations through their producing and writing work.
Heslov reached a career high point as a co-producer of Argo (2012), which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2013. His long-running creative partnership with Clooney has placed him at the center of several acclaimed, politically minded and character-driven films, expanding his profile well beyond on-screen roles.
As an actor, Heslov is recognizable for a wide range of supporting parts across popular studio releases. His notable credits include Good Night, and Good Luck. (as Don Hewitt), Congo (as Richard), The Birdcage (as Photographer – National Enquirer), Fail Safe (as Jimmy), Vital Signs (as Rick), Enemy of the State (as Lenny), Dante's Peak (as Greg), and The Scorpion King (as Arpid).
