Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott (also credited as Abigail Elliott and Abby Elliott Kennedy) is an American actress and comedian born on June 16, 1987, in New York City. She rose to wide recognition as a featured performer on Saturday Night Live, spending four seasons on the long-running sketch series from 2008 to 2012.

Raised in Wilton, Connecticut, Elliott grew up in a family steeped in entertainment. Her mother, Paula Niedert, worked as a talent coordinator, while her father is actor-comedian Chris Elliott; she is also the granddaughter of radio comedy legend Bob Elliott. Early on, she gravitated toward performance, appearing in school productions and developing a clear ambition to make acting her profession.

Elliott continued performing through her years at Immaculate High School in Danbury, taking on roles in plays and musicals. After graduating in 2005, she enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, though she left during her first semester to pursue opportunities more directly.

On screen, Elliott has built a varied film résumé, with notable credits including No Strings Attached (Joy), Fun Size (Lara), High Road (Monica), Cheaper by the Dozen (Tricia), Life Partners (Vanessa), Sex Ed (Trish), Better Off Single (Angela), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Taylor).
