Abigail Spencer
Abigail Spencer (also credited as Abigail Leigh Spencer or Abby Spencer) is an American screen actress born on August 4, 1981, in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She first gained wide attention on daytime TV, breaking in with a multi-year run on ABC’s All My Children before expanding into primetime drama.
Spencer’s television profile grew through a mix of leads and memorable recurring turns, including the short-lived crime series Angela’s Eyes and guest arcs on acclaimed shows such as Mad Men, Hawthorne, and Suits. She earned major critical notice as Amantha Holden on SundanceTV’s Rectify, a performance that brought awards-season recognition, and later headlined NBC’s time-travel adventure Timeless as historian Lucy Preston.
