Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland (born October 30, 1973, in Orangeville, Ontario) is a Canadian screen artist and world-famous performer best known to audiences as Edge. After breaking into pro wrestling in 1992 and sharpening his craft on the independent circuit, he rose to international prominence in WWE, where his charisma, timing, and physical storytelling helped define an era.

Copeland joined WWF in 1997 and debuted on TV as Edge in 1998, quickly moving from breakout singles success to tag-team stardom alongside longtime friend Christian Cage. Their partnership became synonymous with the high-risk spectacle of Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches, before Copeland transitioned into a dominant singles run that made him one of WWE’s most decorated champions.

Forced to step away in 2011 due to serious neck issues, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the following year. His celebrated return in 2020 proved his enduring appeal, and in 2023 he began a new chapter in All Elite Wrestling, again intertwining his story with Christian Cage while continuing to compete at the top level.

Beyond the ring, Copeland has built a steady acting career with recurring roles on Haven, Vikings, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians, plus appearances on The Flash and more. Fans can also spot him across WWE documentary and event titles, including WWE Royal Rumble 2023 and WWE Elimination Chamber 2023.
