Adam Deacon
Adam Deacon (born March 4, 1983) is a British screen artist known for acting and music, raised in Hackney, East London. Emerging from the capital’s vibrant urban culture, he built a profile as both an actor and rapper, bringing authenticity and sharp comic timing to contemporary British stories.
Deacon broke through with Kidulthood (2006), playing Jay, and returned to the role in the sequel Adulthood (2008). Those films helped cement his reputation for portraying streetwise, fast-talking characters—performances that connected with audiences and became touchstones of modern UK youth cinema.
His filmography shows range across comedy, action, and genre fare, including Anuvahood as Kenneth, Shank as Kickz, and Sumotherhood as Riko. He also appears in Boyz in the Wood as Rayan, Hitmen as Bob Black, and Love Without Walls as Daniel the cab driver, continuing to balance grounded realism with energetic entertainment.
