Alex Cooper
Alex Cooper (also known as Alexandra Cooper and “Call Her Daddy”) is an American screen personality and host born on August 21, 1994, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. While she’s credited for acting and on-camera appearances, Cooper is best known for turning her sharp, candid voice into a major pop-culture platform.
She co-created and fronts Call Her Daddy, a weekly comedy-and-advice podcast that became a Spotify powerhouse. In 2021, Time highlighted her as one of the most successful women in podcasting following a reported three-year, $60 million exclusive deal—making her Spotify’s top-earning female podcaster and one of the highest-paid hosts in the medium.
Cooper’s interview style has drawn comparisons from Rolling Stone, which dubbed her “Gen-Z’s Barbara Walters,” reflecting her knack for landing headline-making guests and steering culture-driving conversations. In 2023, she was recognized on the Time 100 Next list.
On screen, Cooper appears as herself across popular talk and entertainment formats, including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and The Kelly Clarkson Show, plus projects like Call Her Alex and the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special.
