Alison Brie

Alison Brie (also credited as Alison Brie Schermerhorn) is an American screen actor, writer, and producer, born on December 29, 1982, in Hollywood, California. Known for blending sharp comedy with grounded drama, she became a standout presence on television and has steadily expanded her range across film and voice work.

Brie broke through with acclaimed series roles, notably as Trudy Campbell on Mad Men and Annie Edison on Community—a character she revisited for the Community Table Read. She later voiced Diane Nguyen on the animated hit BoJack Horseman and earned major award nominations for her performance as Ruth Wilder in GLOW, underscoring her ability to anchor ensemble casts while delivering emotionally layered work.
