Ana Nogueira

Ana Nogueira (born May 2, 1985) is an American screen artist whose work spans acting, playwriting, and screenwriting. On screen, she has built a steady profile through character-driven roles across film and television, including appearances in The Vampire Diaries, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Baby Daddy.

As an actor, Nogueira is recognized for playing Officer Penny Ares on The Vampire Diaries and for her work in projects such as Never Here (Karin), We Win (Rachel), and Prepartum (Blair). Her credits reflect a range that moves from grounded drama to genre storytelling, often anchoring scenes with precise, lived-in performances.

Beyond the camera, Nogueira has made a notable mark in theater. She wrote the plays Empathitrax and Which Way to the Stage, and she also helped shape early development of major stage work—originating the role of Eliza Hamilton in the original Vassar workshop production of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton.
