Anson Mount

Anson Mount (born February 25, 1973, in Mount Prospect, Illinois) is an American screen actor whose career bridges character-driven films and high-profile television franchises. Known for a steady, grounded presence, he has built a résumé that ranges from indie dramas to genre favorites.

Mount first gained wider attention in early 2000s cinema, including Crossroads as Ben, alongside Britney Spears. His film credits also include Tully (Tully Coates Jr.), In Her Shoes (Todd), Urban Legends: Final Cut (Toby), All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (Garth), Poolhall Junkies (Chris), Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror (Tex Jr), and Burning Palms (Tom), showcasing a knack for shifting between drama, thriller, and dark comedy.

On television, he became a standout lead as Cullen Bohannon in AMC’s western drama Hell on Wheels, and earlier appeared as Jim Steele in NBC’s Conviction. He later stepped into major pop-culture roles, portraying Marvel’s Black Bolt in Inhumans and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
