Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards (Anthony Charles Edwards) is an American screen actor and director, born July 19, 1962, in Santa Barbara, California. Across decades in film and television, he has built a reputation for grounded, intelligent performances that move easily between mainstream hits and character-driven dramas.

Edwards first gained wide attention in early ’80s cinema, appearing in titles such as Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Revenge of the Nerds. He became a pop-culture favorite with his role as Nick “Goose” Bradshaw in Top Gun, a performance that helped define the film’s emotional core and cemented his place in Hollywood’s most recognizable ensembles.

His later work showcases range and longevity, from thrillers and mysteries to intimate relationship stories.
