Anthony LaPaglia

Anthony LaPaglia (born January 31, 1959, in Adelaide, South Australia) is an Australian screen actor known for bringing grounded intensity and sharp wit to both film and television. Credited at times as Anthony La Paglia, Anthony M. LaPaglia, or Anthony Lapaglia, he has built an international profile through a career that spans genres and decades.

LaPaglia is most closely associated with his starring turn as Jack Malone on the long-running drama Without a Trace (2002–2009). His work on the series earned major industry recognition, including a Golden Globe Award in 2004, cementing his reputation as a commanding lead in character-driven storytelling.

On the big screen, he has appeared in a wide range of notable projects, from romantic drama Autumn in New York (as John Volpe) to the legal thriller The Client (as Barry Muldano). His filmography also includes So I Married an Axe Murderer (Tony Giardino), Dead Heat (Ray), Mixed Nuts (Felix), The Salton Sea (Al Garcetti), Played (Detective Drummond), and I’m with Lucy (Bobby).
