Ash Avildsen
Ash Avildsen (also credited as Ashley Gregory Avildsen and Ashley Avildsen) is an American filmmaker, producer, and occasional on-screen performer, born November 5, 1981. Working across film and music-driven storytelling, he has built a career that spans directing, producing, and acting roles.
Avildsen is the founder and CEO of Sumerian Records and Sumerian Pictures, companies that connect alternative music culture with genre-forward cinema. That dual focus has helped shape his reputation as a creator who moves comfortably between the recording studio and the film set.
He is widely recognized for directing American Satan (2017) and Queen of the Ring (2024). As a screen artist, he has also appeared in projects such as Paradise City (as Levi Svengali) and What Now (as DJ), while showing up as himself in wrestling-related titles including All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite and AEW Revolution 2025.
