Ben Foster

Ben Foster (also credited as Benjamin A. Foster and Benjamin Foster) is an American actor born on October 29, 1980, in Boston, Massachusetts. Known for intense, transformative performances, he has built a career that moves fluidly between studio thrillers, genre standouts, and acclaimed independent dramas.

Foster broke through in early 2000s film and television, including a notable run on Six Feet Under. He soon became a familiar face in youth comedies like Get Over It (as Berke Landers) and action-driven projects such as The Punisher (as Specker Dave) and Hostage (as Mars Krupcheck), establishing a reputation for playing volatile, unpredictable characters.

His filmography spans horror and western alike, from 30 Days of Night (as The Stranger) to 3:10 to Yuma (as Charlie Prince), alongside turns in Alpha Dog (as Jake Mazursky) and Big Trouble (as Matt Arnold). He has also taken on stage work, including Long Day's Journey into Night as Jamie Tyrone.
