Bill Hader

Bill Hader (William T. Hader Jr.; born June 7, 1978, in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director celebrated for sharp character work and inventive comedy. He’s also known internationally as 빌 헤이더 and Μπιλ Χέιντερ.

Hader first broke through on NBC’s Saturday Night Live (2005–2013), where his impressions and scene-stealing “Weekend Update” appearances made him a standout. His run earned multiple Emmy nominations and helped cement his reputation as a versatile performer with a distinct comedic voice.

He later expanded into prestige TV as the creator and star of HBO’s dark comedy Barry (2018–2023), serving as writer, director, and producer as well. The series became a major awards player, bringing him numerous Emmy nominations and two wins.

On film, Hader is recognizable from crowd-pleasers like Superbad (Officer Slater), Hot Rod (Dave), You, Me and Dupree (Mark), Tropic Thunder (Rob Slolom), and Pineapple Express (Private Miller). He’s also a sought-after voice actor, headlining Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs as Flint Lockwood and contributing to a wide range of animated hits.
