Bob Bergen

Bob Bergen (also credited as Robert Bergen, Bob Berger, and Robert Berger) is an American screen artist best known for voice acting across animation, games, and television. Born March 8, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, Bergen has become a familiar presence behind some of pop culture’s most recognizable characters.

He is widely associated with Porky Pig, taking on the iconic Looney Tunes role across multiple modern projects and helping keep the character’s classic cadence alive for new generations. Bergen also stepped in front of the mic as the host of Jep!, a youth-focused spin on the long-running quiz show Jeopardy!, showcasing his versatility beyond character work.

In anime dubbing, Bergen contributed to Streamline Pictures releases, voicing Lupin the Third in late-1980s and early-1990s dubs, and lending his voice to other notable titles from the era. His career also includes work as a Disney Channel announcer and roles such as Bucky in The Emperor’s New School.

Genre fans also know Bergen as a frequent voice for Luke Skywalker in numerous Star Wars video games and in Robot Chicken: Star Wars specials. His film and franchise credits include Monsters, Inc., The Iron Giant, Tinker Bell, Kronk’s New Groove, and Bah, Humduck!: A Looney Tunes Christmas.
