Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper (born January 5, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American screen actor and filmmaker whose work spans comedy, drama, and blockbuster franchises. With films that have earned massive global box-office returns, he has also collected major industry recognition, including a BAFTA and multiple Grammy Awards, alongside numerous Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.

Cooper began on television with a guest spot on Sex and the City before sharpening his craft in the Actors Studio’s MFA program. Early roles included Wet Hot American Summer (as Ben) and a long-running part on TV’s Alias, followed by studio comedies like Failure to Launch and Yes Man. He also appeared in titles such as He’s Just Not That Into You, The Rocker, The Comebacks, and the thriller The Midnight Meat Train.

His mainstream breakthrough arrived with The Hangover, opening the door to leading-man turns in Limitless and acclaimed dramatic work that brought Academy Award attention, including Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and American Sniper. He later expanded into directing and producing with A Star Is Born, earning high-profile music and film honors, and continued as the voice of Rocket in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Beyond the screen, Cooper has appeared on Broadway in The Elephant Man and is known for supporting cancer-related charities. He was briefly married to actress Jennifer Esposito and shares a daughter with model Irina Shayk.
