Caitlin Stasey

Caitlin Stasey (also credited as Caitlin Jean Stasey) is an Australian screen actor born May 1, 1990, in Melbourne, Victoria. She first gravitated toward performance as a child and later expanded her creative interests into screenwriting and documentary filmmaking, building a career that bridges mainstream entertainment and edgier independent work.

Before acting became her focus, Stasey appeared with the Australian Girls Choir in Qantas’ iconic “I Still Call Australia Home” campaign, traveling internationally to film the commercial ahead of the Sydney Olympics. She soon gained wide recognition playing Francesca “Frankie” Thomas on The Sleepover Club, a hit that traveled well beyond Australia, and later became a familiar face to TV audiences as Rachel Kinski on Neighbours.

Her transition to film brought a major breakthrough as Ellie Linton in Tomorrow, When the War Began, a performance praised by critics and honored with an IF Award for Best Actress in 2010. That same year, she relocated to Los Angeles, opening the door to a broader range of international projects.

Stasey’s credits span genre and tone, from I, Frankenstein (Keziah) and Smile (Laura Weaver) to indie titles like Lust for Love (Trinity), Evidence (Rachel), All Cheerleaders Die (Mäddy Killian), Chu and Blossom (Cherry Swade), and Fall Risk (Emily).
