Carlos Bardem
Carlos Bardem (born March 7, 1963, in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish screen actor recognized for his commanding presence across film and television. Coming from one of Spain’s best-known acting families, he is the son of actress Pilar Bardem and the brother of performers Mónica and Javier Bardem.
Over the years, Bardem has built a varied career that moves comfortably between mainstream hits and gritty dramas. He is widely remembered for roles in Torrente: The Dumb Arm of the Law (Cayetano), Cell 211 (Apache), and Steven Soderbergh’s Che: Part Two (Moisés Guevara), alongside standout work in Captain Alatriste: The Spanish Musketeer and The Fish Child.
In television, he earned major acclaim for La zona, which brought him the Spanish Actors Union’s 2008 award for Best Male Newcomer. He continued expanding his range with projects such as Entrelobos, Alacrán enamorado, Pickpockets: Maestros del robo, and Alegría, tristeza.
Also credited as 카를로스 바르뎀, Carlos Bardem remains a reliable character actor, often cast as authoritative, intense, or morally complex figures that anchor ensemble stories.
