Carter Swan

Carter Swan is an American producer best known for helping bring PlayStation’s biggest game worlds to the screen. Based in Los Angeles, he serves as a senior producer at PlayStation Productions, the Sony Interactive Entertainment unit focused on film and television adaptations of PlayStation franchises.

Across recent high-profile releases, Swan has contributed to the studio’s push into mainstream cinema and prestige TV. His production credits include the feature films Uncharted (2022) and Gran Turismo (2023), projects that translate popular interactive titles into large-scale, audience-friendly storytelling.

On television, Swan is closely associated with HBO’s The Last of Us (2023–present), where he has served as an executive producer. The series received Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series in both 2023 and 2025, and it earned a Peabody Award for Entertainment in 2024—milestones that underline the growing impact of game-to-screen adaptations.
