Ceán Chaffin
Ceán Chaffin (born June 26, 1957, in Los Angeles, California) is an American film producer recognized for shaping ambitious, director-driven projects. She is especially associated with acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher, with whom she has built a long-running creative partnership both professionally and personally.
Chaffin earned major industry attention as part of the producing teams behind The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) and The Social Network (2010), receiving Academy Award nominations for Best Picture for both films. Her work on these titles helped cement her reputation for guiding prestige productions from development through release.
Her producing credits have also been honored by the American Film Institute, winning AFI Awards for Benjamin Button, The Social Network, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011). In addition, she has been recognized by the Producers Guild of America with nominations for Producers of the Year for those films.
Internationally, Chaffin’s producing achievements have been acknowledged with British Academy Film Award nominations for Benjamin Button and The Social Network, underscoring her impact on modern American cinema and award-season storytelling.
