Chad Oman

Chad Oman (born May 15, 1965, in Wichita Falls, Texas) is an American film producer and a longtime executive in studio filmmaking. He is best known as the President of Production for Jerry Bruckheimer Films, where he has helped guide projects from development through production and delivery.

Before joining the Bruckheimer team in 1995, Oman helped launch the Motion Picture Corporation of America, serving as one of the company’s earliest employees. That early experience in building a production operation shaped his reputation as a behind-the-scenes leader with a strong grasp of both creative and logistical demands.

Oman’s path into film began with formal training on both coasts. He studied screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles, then continued his education in New York, taking part in New York University’s undergraduate film production program—an academic foundation that bridged storytelling and hands-on filmmaking.

While primarily recognized for production leadership, his on-screen and credited appearances include According to Plan: The Harrowing and True Story of Dead Man's Chest (as Self), Double Trouble (as G-Man #1), Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (as Ugly Hunter), and Cover Me (as Jones).
