Charles Roven
Charles "Chuck" Roven (born August 2, 1949, in Los Angeles, California) is an American film producer best known for steering large-scale studio filmmaking and franchise storytelling. Working under the names Charles Roven and Chuck Roven, he has built a long-running reputation for pairing commercial ambition with polished craft.
Roven is the president and co-founder of Atlas Entertainment, where he has helped develop and produce some of the most influential modern superhero films. His producing credits are closely associated with The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad, projects that shaped the tone and scale of contemporary comic-book cinema.
Beyond feature production, Roven frequently appears in behind-the-scenes and retrospective programs, offering insight into how major releases are planned and executed. He is featured as himself in titles including Journey of Discovery: Creating Man of Steel, The Fire Rises: The Creation and Impact of The Dark Knight Trilogy, and 100 Years of Warner Bros., reflecting his prominent role in the industry’s blockbuster era.
