Chris Evans (also credited as Christopher Robert Evans) is an American screen actor born on June 13, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts. He first broke through in early 2000s film and TV, quickly becoming a recognizable leading man after the teen spoof Not Another Teen Movie as Jake Wyler.

Evans built momentum with genre and comic-book adaptations, including Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer as Johnny Storm / Human Torch and voice work as Casey Jones in TMNT.
