Chris Pontius

Chris Pontius (born July 16, 1974, in Pasadena, California) is an American screen performer and on-camera personality best known for fearless, prank-driven entertainment. Blending physical comedy with a daredevil edge, he became a recognizable face of early-2000s youth culture.

Pontius rose to prominence as a core member of Jackass, where his upbeat energy and willingness to commit to outrageous stunts helped define the franchise’s chaotic style. He also expanded that persona on television as a co-host of Wildboyz alongside Steve-O, taking the format beyond pranks into wild, travel-based challenges.

His film and TV credits include Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Jackass 2.5, and Jackass 3D, often appearing as himself, as well as projects like Somewhere (as Sammy) and My Dead Dad (as Cosmo).
