Chris Pontius

Chris Pontius (born July 16, 1974, in Pasadena, California) is an American screen performer and on-camera personality best known for fearless, prank-driven entertainment. Blending physical comedy with a daredevil edge, he became a recognizable face of early-2000s youth culture.

Pontius rose to prominence as a core member of Jackass, where his upbeat energy and willingness to commit to outrageous stunts helped define the franchise’s chaotic style. He also expanded that persona on television as a co-host of Wildboyz alongside Steve-O, taking the format beyond pranks into wild, travel-based challenges.

His film and TV credits include Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Jackass 2.5, and Jackass 3D, often appearing as himself, as well as projects like Somewhere (as Sammy) and My Dead Dad (as Cosmo). He has also featured in compilation and retrospective titles such as Steve-O: The Greatest Hits and Steve-O: The Early Years.
