Clifton Collins Jr.

Clifton Collins Jr. (born June 16, 1970, in Los Angeles, California) is an American screen actor recognized for disappearing into vivid, often unpredictable characters across film and television. Also credited as Clifton Craig Gonzalez Collins Jr., William Battersby, and Clifton Gonzalez-Gonzalez, he has built a career defined by range, intensity, and sharp character detail.

Collins gained early attention for his work opposite Samuel L. Jackson in One Eight Seven, then deepened his reputation with a chilling, acclaimed turn as Perry Smith in Capote. His filmography spans studio and independent projects, including roles in Babel, The Last Castle, The Rules of Attraction, Dirty, Tigerland, The Stöned Age, and The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.

On television, Collins has appeared in numerous series and recurring arcs, bringing the same grounded authenticity to episodic storytelling as he does to features.
