Clive Pearse

Clive Pearse is a British-American screen artist best known to many viewers as a charismatic television host in the home-design space. Originally from the United Kingdom, he later made the United States his permanent home, becoming an American citizen in 2002.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 1997, Pearse broadened his entertainment résumé and built a strong voiceover career alongside on-camera work. He is associated with HGTV programming, including Designed to Sell and HGTV Star, where he appeared as a host and on-screen personality.

Off-camera, Pearse’s voice has reached wide audiences through film and advertising. His credits include the Oscar-winning animated hit Shrek as an Ogre Hunter (voice) and narration work for The Duchess. He has also voiced numerous national radio and TV commercials for major brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, and Ziploc.

Beyond entertainment, Pearse is active in animal welfare advocacy. He has worked closely with Academy Award nominee Linda Blair and serves on the board of the nonprofit Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation, supporting efforts to protect and raise awareness for abused companion animals.
