Colleen Camp
Colleen Camp (also credited as Colleen Camp Wilson and Colleen Celeste Camp) is an American screen actress and producer, born June 7, 1953, in San Francisco, California. A familiar presence in Hollywood for decades, she’s known for sharp supporting turns that can steal scenes in both studio hits and cult favorites.
Camp began with smaller roles in the 1970s, including Funny Lady, and appeared in Game of Death. She also made an early mark on television, becoming the first performer to portray Kristin Shepard on the prime-time soap Dallas in 1979. That same era brought her into Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now as Miss May—material that was later more fully showcased in the Redux version.
Her filmography spans comedies and thrillers, from Clue to Valley Girl and Greedy, as well as high-profile titles like Sliver and Die Hard: With a Vengeance. She’s especially remembered for recurring Police Academy appearances, including Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment and Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol, and for roles in Speed 2: Cruise Control and Battle for the Planet of the Apes.
Alongside acting, Camp has expanded her career as a producer while continuing to pop up in notable TV projects such as Entourage and House, M.D.. She was married to Paramount executive John Goldwyn from 1986 to 2001, and they have one daughter.
