Con O'Neill

Con O’Neill (also credited as Robert O’Neill) is an English screen and stage actor born on August 15, 1966, in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. Known for a commanding presence and musical-theatre roots, he first developed his craft at Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre before breaking through to wider audiences.

O’Neill became especially celebrated for his work in musicals, earning major critical recognition for his portrayal of Michael “Mickey” Johnstone in Blood Brothers. That performance brought him a Laurence Olivier Award and later led to further top-tier nominations, including Tony and Drama Desk nods—firmly establishing him as a performer of rare intensity and range.

Alongside his stage acclaim, O’Neill has built a substantial on-screen résumé across film and television. Notable credits include Telstar: The Joe Meek Story (as Joe Meek), Vengeance Is Mine (as Harry Kane), Norbert Smith: A Life (as Davy Throb), The Last Seduction II (as Troy Fenton), and Frank (as Fidel), showcasing his versatility from drama to darkly comic character work.

Internationally, he is also known under alternate name forms such as 콘 오닐 and کان اونیل, reflecting his growing recognition with global audiences.
