Corey Hawkins
Corey Hawkins (also credited as Corey Antonio Hawkins; 柯瑞·霍金斯) is an American screen and stage actor born on October 22, 1988, in Arlington, Texas. He broke through with high-profile television work, including a standout run on The Walking Dead, before quickly becoming a sought-after leading man.
Hawkins gained major recognition for portraying Dr. Dre in Straight Outta Compton, a performance that helped earn the film a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. His film résumé spans studio action and character-driven drama, with notable roles in Non-Stop (Travis Mitchell) and Kong: Skull Island (Houston Brooks), as well as projects like Survive (Paul) and The Man in My Basement (Charles Blakey).
Equally respected on stage, Hawkins has built a strong Broadway profile, earning Tony Award nominations for acclaimed turns in Six Degrees of Separation and Topdog/Underdog.
