Courtney Baxter
Courtney Baxter (born October 20, 1993, in West Chester, Pennsylvania) is an American screen artist known for her work in acting and her early hands-on involvement in filmmaking. She entered the industry young, joining SAG and AFTRA at just 11, and spent her formative years working on productions across the United States—experience that broadened her interest beyond performance into the craft of production.
By her mid-teens, Baxter was already taking on leadership roles behind the camera. At 16, she served as an executive producer and lead performer on the drama Reco, a project that earned attention on the festival circuit. Soon after, she executive produced and starred as Eve Bates in the horror feature Hallows' Eve, which secured distribution through eOne in 2012, the same year she began college.
Her momentum continued with development and production work tied to a feature created during an internship period, while she kept building her on-screen résumé. Baxter is also recognized for her role as Mora Brody in Sharknado 2: The Second One, and for performances in titles such as Chasing Yesterday (Jenny), Marry Me (Fangirl), Night Has Settled (Adriana Nicholas), and ImagiGARY (Vivian).
