Craig Kyle

Craig Kyle (also known as 크레이그 카일, born November 3, 1971, USA) is an American writer closely associated with Marvel’s modern era across comics, animation, and screen-facing documentary features. He is widely recognized for helping shape Marvel storytelling with a character-first approach that bridges superhero spectacle and emotional stakes.

In comics, Kyle is best known as a co-creator of X-23, a breakout figure who expanded the Wolverine mythos and became a fan-favorite in her own right. His work has been noted for sharpening continuity while introducing new angles that resonate beyond a single title.

Beyond the page, Kyle also moved into production on Marvel’s direct-to-video animated projects, contributing to the studio’s broader push to translate comic narratives into accessible screen stories. That experience positioned him at the intersection of franchise building and character development.

On the screen side, he is credited as himself in several Marvel Studios features, including Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe, Marvel Studios: Building a Cinematic Universe, A Brothers' Journey: Thor & Loki, and Thor: From Asgard to Earth, reflecting his involvement with behind-the-scenes storytelling around the Thor film series.
