Dagmar Döring

Dagmar Döring (born December 18, 1978, in Dublin, Ireland) is an actor known for versatile screen work that spans drama, thriller, science fiction, and period storytelling. With a grounded presence and an ability to disappear into supporting roles, she has built a filmography defined by range rather than repetition.

Döring gained international visibility in the sci‑fi feature Ferocious Planet, playing Dr. Jillian O’Hara, and later appeared in acclaimed Irish and UK productions including Re-Creation (as Arianna Borina) and The Front Line (as a Sales Assistant). Her credits also include Sprachlos in Irland (Linda) and the crime adaptation 13 Steps Down (Pest Controller), highlighting her ease with both contemporary realism and heightened genre material.

In recent years, she has continued to take on distinctive character parts, from Victorian Psycho (Mrs. Prim) to Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin (Church Goer 2). She has also contributed voice performance work, notably in One Last Deal as Kristy Brody (voice), underscoring her adaptability across formats.
