Dagmara Dominczyk
Dagmara Domińczyk (also credited as Dagmara Dominczyk) is a Polish-American screen artist known for sharp, emotionally grounded performances across film, television, and stage. Born on July 17, 1976, in Kielce, Świętokrzyskie, Poland, she built a career defined by intelligent character work and an ease moving between prestige dramas and mainstream features.
She gained wide recognition for playing Mercedès Iguanada in The Count of Monte Cristo, and continued to expand her range with roles in Kinsey (as Agnes Gebhard), The Five People You Meet in Heaven (as Marguerite), Running with Scissors (as Suzanne), and Lonely Hearts (as Delphine Downing). Other notable credits include Helena from the Wedding (as Eve), They (as Terry Alba), and Felix the Painter (as Brigitte).
On television, Domińczyk has remained a familiar presence, appearing in series such as The Bedford Diaries and later earning attention for her work on HBO’s Succession. Beyond acting, she is also an author; in 2013 she published the novel The Lullaby of Polish Girls.
She has been married to actor Patrick Wilson since 2005, and they have two sons. She also comes from a family of performers, with sisters Marika Domińczyk and Veronika Domińczyk both working as actresses.
