Daniel Zovatto

Daniel Zovatto (also credited as Daniel Zovatto Blanco) is a Costa Rican film and television actor, born on June 28, 1991, in San José, Costa Rica. Known for his intense screen presence, he has built an international profile through genre-driven projects and character-forward performances.

Zovatto first drew wide attention with horror roles that showcased his ability to balance vulnerability and menace. He appeared in Beneath as Johnny, followed by memorable turns in modern horror favorites It Follows (as Greg Hannigan) and Don’t Breathe (as Money). His film work also includes Laggies (as Junior), Innocence (as Neils Hirsch), and a supporting role in Lady Bird as Jonah Ruiz.

In 2023, he joined the supernatural thriller The Pope’s Exorcist as Father Esquibel, continuing his run in dark, high-stakes storytelling. The following year, he took on one of his most challenging parts to date, portraying serial killer Rodney Alcala in the crime thriller Woman of the Hour.

Beyond film, Zovatto has been a steady presence on television, with notable series roles in Here and Now, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, and Station Eleven, further cementing his versatility across formats.
