Danielle Rose Russell
Danielle Rose Russell (born October 31, 1999, in New Jersey, USA) is an American screen actress recognized for bringing emotional clarity and strength to both film and television roles. She is also known internationally under names such as ダニエル・ローズ・ラッセル and دنیل رز راسل.
Russell’s path into entertainment began early, after a family acquaintance encouraged her mother to submit photos for modeling. What started as a cautious experiment quickly turned into real interest from agents, leading to commercial and print work while she was still in her early teens. Before long, she discovered that acting—not modeling—was where she wanted to build her future.
At just thirteen, she landed her first feature role as Lucia in A Walk Among the Tombstones, sharing the screen with Liam Neeson and Dan Stevens. Soon after, she traveled to Hawaii for Cameron Crowe’s Aloha, appearing alongside Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone, and Bradley Cooper, and continued expanding her film résumé with projects like Pandemic, Measure of a Man, and Wonder.
On television, Russell became widely known as Hope Mikaelson in The Originals and its spin-off Legacies, a defining performance that helped establish her as a standout presence in contemporary genre storytelling.
