Dany Garcia

Dany Garcia (also credited as Dany Johnson and Dany Garcia Johnson) is an American producer and entrepreneur born on November 29, 1968, in Miami, Florida. Known for production and high-impact brand building, she has become a prominent force linking Hollywood storytelling with modern business strategy.

After earning her degree from the University of Miami School of Business, Garcia started in finance at Merrill Lynch in 1992. She later shifted into talent and enterprise leadership, beginning management of Dwayne Johnson’s career in 2008 and helping shape one of the industry’s most recognizable global brands.

In 2012, she co-founded Seven Bucks Productions, producing a run of major studio titles tied to Johnson, including Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Shazam!, Hobbs & Shaw, Jungle Cruise, Red Notice, DC League of Super-Pets, and Black Adam. Her screen presence includes the documentary credit Player 54: Chasing the XFL Dream as herself.

Beyond film, Garcia founded GSTQ and leads The Garcia Companies as CEO and chair, overseeing a diverse portfolio spanning entertainment, sports, consumer goods, and lifestyle ventures—reflecting her reputation as a producer with boardroom-level reach.
