David C. Glasser
David C. Glasser (born March 17, 1971) is an American film and television executive best known for his work in production and company leadership. Over the years, he has helped shape projects across the industry, moving from hands-on credits to high-level roles that influence what gets made and how it reaches audiences.
Glasser founded Cutting Edge Entertainment, establishing himself as a key behind-the-scenes figure. He later rose to become President of The Weinstein Company, where he was widely regarded as a close lieutenant to Harvey Weinstein and a central operator in the studio’s day-to-day business.
Following the collapse of the Weinstein brothers’ empire amid widely reported allegations and convictions related to rape and sexual misconduct, Glasser transitioned into a new leadership chapter. He went on to serve as CEO of 101 Studios, continuing his career as a prominent entertainment executive.
While primarily recognized for production and executive work, Glasser also has assorted on-screen and voice credits, including appearances in titles such as Pee-wee's Big Adventure and Pump Up the Volume.
