David Denman
David Denman (born July 25, 1973, in Newport Beach, California) is an American screen actor known for grounded, blue-collar characters and scene-stealing supporting turns. After breaking into film in the early 2000s, he steadily built a résumé that spans studio features, indie dramas, and prestige television.
Denman became widely recognized for playing Roy Anderson on NBC’s The Office, a role that helped cement his mainstream profile and contributed to the ensemble’s Screen Actors Guild recognition. He followed that visibility with prominent TV work, including lead parts on Fox’s Traffic Light and Cinemax’s horror series Outcast, later appearing in HBO Max’s acclaimed limited series Mare of Easttown.
On the film side, Denman’s credits showcase his range across genres. He appeared in titles such as Big Fish (as Don Price, ages 18–22), When a Stranger Calls, Shutter, Joy Ride, The Nines, Fanboys, Take, and Fair Game. In recent years he has continued to take on high-profile projects, including Puzzle, Brightburn, Greenland, The Equalizer 3, and Rebel Ridge.
