David Kosse

David Kosse is an American media executive and film producer from Portland, Oregon, recognized for shaping how movies travel across borders. Over the course of his career, he has become closely associated with building and scaling international distribution operations, while earning a reputation for strong, filmmaker-focused partnerships.

Kosse has held senior roles across major players in the industry, including Universal Pictures, Netflix, Film4, and STX Entertainment. His work has often centered on expanding global reach—helping establish and strengthen international film distribution divisions at companies such as Netflix, Universal, and Momentum Pictures.

Alongside his executive leadership, Kosse has producer credits on acclaimed films, including the Academy Award-winning All Quiet on the Western Front and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. These projects reflect his ability to connect prestige storytelling with worldwide audiences.
