David MacInnis
David MacInnis (born December 17, 1978, in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian screen actor recognized for performances that balance authority with emotional openness. Often cast for his strong presence, he brings a distinctly physical approach to character work, shaped by training in both martial arts and dance.
Classically trained, MacInnis is a graduate of the University of Alberta’s Conservatory Acting Programme. That foundation has made him equally at home in front of the camera and on stage, with work spanning productions in Canada and the United States.
Based in the Toronto market, he has accumulated more than 40 film and television credits and remains a sought-after performer for roles requiring intensity, precision, and grounded realism. His screen work includes Sniper: Rogue Mission (Rosie), 8-Bit Christmas (Mr. Halberg), Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning (Cormac), and In the Shadow of the Moon (Driving Cop, 1988), among other notable appearances.
