Dennis To Yu-Hang

Dennis To Yu-Hang (born January 1, 1981, in Hong Kong, China) is a Hong Kong screen artist and martial arts performer known for bringing high-level wushu athleticism to film and television. Also credited as Yuhang Du and Dennis To (두우항), he built his early reputation in competitive martial arts before transitioning into acting.

Before the camera, To distinguished himself on the tournament circuit, earning major honors including a silver medal at the 2002 Asian Games and a gold medal at the 2005 East Asian Games. That elite background became the foundation of his on-screen style—precise, fast, and grounded in authentic technique—helping him stand out in Hong Kong action cinema.

He moved into screen work in the late 2000s, initially appearing in supporting roles in films such as Ip Man, Bodyguards and Assassins, and Ip Man 2. His breakthrough came when he took on the title role in The Legend Is Born: Ip Man, portraying the famed Wing Chun master with a mix of physical credibility and dramatic focus.

Beyond the Ip Man universe, To’s notable credits include Wu Dang, The Woman Knight of Mirror Lake, Zombie 108, and The Harbor, reinforcing his profile as a dependable presence in martial arts and action-driven storytelling.
