Diana Lee Inosanto
Diana Lee Inosanto (also credited as D. Lee Inosanto) is a Filipino American screen artist known for blending performance with elite martial-arts craft. Born May 29, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, she has built a career spanning acting, stunt work, martial arts, and directing, earning recognition for physically precise, character-driven roles.
Inosanto comes from a storied lineage in the martial-arts world as the daughter of renowned instructor Dan Inosanto and Sue Inosanto. Her name also reflects a personal connection to cinema history: she is the goddaughter of the late Bruce Lee, a relationship she has discussed in documentary appearances that explore Lee’s cultural impact.
On screen, she is known for credits such as The Prodigy (Ash), The Sensei (Karen O’Neil), and The Vault (Grace), as well as the uncredited Blade appearance as a Blood Bath Vampire. She has also lent her voice to The Tiger’s Apprentice (Horse).
Beyond narrative features, Inosanto appears as herself in projects including Be Water, I Am Bruce Lee, and Iron Fists and Kung Fu Kicks, where her perspective bridges martial-arts tradition and modern filmmaking.
