Dominique Fishback
Dominique Fishback (also known as دومینیک فیشبک) is an American screen artist and playwright born on March 22, 1991, in Brooklyn, New York. Celebrated for emotionally precise performances, she has built a career that moves confidently between independent dramas and major studio releases.
Fishback first drew wide attention on television, including standout work as Billie Rowan in Show Me a Hero and Darlene in The Deuce. Her film breakthrough continued with roles such as Angel in Night Comes On and Kenya in The Hate U Give, where her grounded presence helped sharpen the stories’ social stakes.
In 2021, she earned major awards attention for portraying Deborah Johnson in Judas and the Black Messiah, a performance that brought her a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
