Don Murphy
Don Murphy (born April 1, 1970, in New York, USA) is an American screen artist best known for his work in production, helping steer big, audience-driven films from concept to release. Over the years, he has built a reputation for pairing bold genre ideas with mainstream scale, becoming a recognizable name behind modern studio entertainment.
Murphy’s producing credits include the influential crime thriller Natural Born Killers and high-profile projects such as Real Steel and Splice. He is also closely associated with the Transformers franchise, serving as a producer on Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, titles that helped define blockbuster filmmaking in the late 2000s.
In addition to producing, Murphy has appeared on screen in a handful of film and documentary contexts, including Predators from Beyond Neptune (as Himself) and Quentin Tarantino: From a Movie Buff to a Hollywood Legend (archive footage).
