Donald Faison

Donald Faison (also credited as Donald Adeosun Faison) is an American actor and voice performer, born June 22, 1974, in New York City. He became a familiar face to TV audiences through his long-running role as Dr. Chris Turk, the quick-witted surgeon at the heart of the comedy-drama Scrubs (2001–2010).

Faison’s film career took off in the mid-1990s with standout appearances including Clueless as Murray and later broadened into a steady run of ensemble comedies and studio projects. His credits span everything from teen favorites like Can’t Hardly Wait to offbeat crime and comedy entries such as King’s Ransom and Double Whammy, showcasing an easy charisma and sharp comedic timing.

Over the years, he has also moved fluidly between genres, from lighthearted roles in Uptown Girls and Bachelor Party Vegas to sci-fi action in Skyline. As a voice actor, he brought personality to animated work as well, including Good Boy! (voice). Across film and television, Faison remains known for energetic performances and a warm, audience-friendly presence.
