Drew Starkey
Drew Starkey (born November 4, 1993, in Asheville, North Carolina) is an American screen actor also credited as Joseph Andrew Starkey. He first broke into the industry with small but memorable supporting parts in 2018’s teen-focused hits Love, Simon and The Hate U Give, quickly establishing a grounded, natural style on camera.
Starkey’s wider breakthrough arrived with Netflix’s adventure series Outer Banks (2020–present), where his portrayal of the volatile Rafe Cameron helped turn him into a standout presence of the show’s ensemble. The role showcased his ability to balance intensity and vulnerability, earning him increased attention from audiences and casting directors alike.
Beyond television, he has continued building a varied film résumé. His notable credits include Hellraiser (as Trevor), The Other Zoey (as Zack MacLaren), and Limbo (as Rodney), alongside projects such as Extended Stay, The Family Portrait, Up the Hill, Bounds, and The Radical Notion of Gene Mutation. With each new part, Starkey has steadily expanded his range across thriller, drama, and contemporary romance.
