Dylan O'Brien
Dylan O’Brien (also credited as Dylan Rhodes O’Brien) is an American screen actor born on August 26, 1991, in New York City. He broke through on television as Stiles Stilinski in MTV’s supernatural hit Teen Wolf (2011–2017), where his sharp comedic timing and grounded emotion helped make the character a fan favorite.
O’Brien’s profile rose globally when he moved into leading-man territory with the sci‑fi adventure franchise The Maze Runner, starring as Thomas in The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. The series positioned him as a reliable anchor for large-scale, youth-driven blockbusters while expanding his range in action and suspense.
He continued to diversify with high-intensity roles, including portraying real-life survivor Caleb Holloway in Deepwater Horizon and stepping into action-thriller territory as Mitch Rapp in American Assassin. He also lent his voice to the title character in Bumblebee, highlighting his versatility across live-action and voice work.
Beyond franchise filmmaking, O’Brien has appeared in notable projects such as The First Time, The Internship, and Taylor Swift’s All Too Well: The Short Film. In recent years, he has led genre-forward stories including Love and Monsters and the horror-leaning Caddo Lake (2024).
