Eddie Marsan (also credited as Edward Marsan) is an English screen actor born on June 9, 1968, in Stepney, East London. Known for his chameleonic character work, Marsan has built a career defined by grounded intensity, sharp detail, and an ability to disappear into both gritty dramas and mainstream franchises.
His performance as Scott in Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) became a major career milestone, earning him Best Supporting Actor honors from the London Film Critics’ Circle and the National Society of Film Critics.
