Ego Nwodim
Ego Nwodim (born March 10, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American actor and comedian known for sharp character work and a versatile screen presence across comedy, family entertainment, and voice roles.
Under her full name, Egobunma Kelechi Nwodim, she rose to mainstream recognition as a featured performer on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. Joining with the show’s 44th season in 2018, Nwodim became a standout in the ensemble and remained a cast member through 2025, concluding her run during the landmark 50th season.
Beyond late-night sketch comedy, Nwodim has built an expanding filmography that blends live-action and animation. Her notable credits include Scrambled (Sheila), Good Burger 2 (Edie), Genie (Diana), and Players (Claire), along with family favorites like Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (Carol).
She has also become a recognizable voice talent, appearing in Baby Shark’s Big Movie (Leah) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever (Officer Leonard).
