Einar Haraldsson
Einar Haraldsson (born January 1, 1955, in Reykjavik, Iceland) is an Icelandic screen artist known for acting roles that draw on a lifetime of real-world experience. Before stepping in front of the camera, Haraldsson built a long career in public service and security, bringing a grounded presence to many of his performances.
He worked as a police officer from 1974 to 1993, then continued in protective services as a security guard at the U.S. Embassy in Iceland from 1995 to 2013. After decades in demanding frontline roles, he transitioned into the acting industry in 2013, beginning a new chapter that lasted through 2024.
Haraldsson’s credits include No Time To Think, The Finnish Line (Guest), River of Blood (TJ), Dead Sea (Flint), 13 Days, 13 Nights (Tom), All the Lost Ones (Reporter), Buried Alive and Survived (Tommy), and Haiwaan. Across thrillers, dramas, and action-leaning stories, he is recognized for portraying characters with authority, restraint, and authenticity.
